Xanadu Introduces a Photonic-Based Quantum Computer in the Cloud

Xanadu just released the first photonic quantum computer in the cloud. They are currently at 12 qubits but are expected to have a 24 qubit version coming soon. Photonic based quantum computers operate at room temperature versus superconducting or ion trap quantum computers which require very expensive refrigeration systems. They also can be easily networked together using fiber-optic cables to create multi-processing capabilities with more qubits.
